Crowns, bridges and inlays: ceramic crown on a gold-veined marble block

Zaritzki Restorations

A tooth that has been restored, and that no one recognizes as restored. That is the standard we measure every restoration against. At Zaritzki Fine Dentistry every restoration, whether inlay, crown, onlay or bridge, comes out of precise planning, fine choice of material, and an understanding that takes aesthetics and function as one. Every surface, every contour, every play of light is shaped so that the new tooth fits in seamlessly. For every single tooth we answer one question: how much is necessary, and how little is enough? For every tooth we choose the smallest solution that will carry it permanently, and we fight for every millimeter of healthy substance. Where several teeth are affected, that often becomes a combination: an inlay here, an onlay there, a crown beside it, brought together into a result whose transitions no one can see. Not even you.

Perfect teeth, as though they were your own.

"This is not a replacement. It is restoration in the finest sense."

The Zaritzki Difference

Naturalness does not come about by chance. It comes about through architecture. Every restoration is prepared under the microscope, made from fine materials and shaped so that it looks as though it had always been there.

DIAGNOSTICS
Every parameter is recorded: clinically, digitally, radiographically at low dose, with a 3D scan and a functional assessment. Nothing is left out, nothing is estimated. This diagnostic work takes longer than most patients are used to. That is exactly why the treatment afterwards runs so calmly. We decide once, and correctly. The result: a restoration that stays able to bear load. Free of inflammation. Permanently.

DENTAL HEALTH REPORT
Findings do not disappear into conversation. They stay, shown visually, explained clearly. You see what we see. A treatment plan that accounts for every tooth: functionally, aesthetically, over the long term. You receive your presentation after the appointment, digitally, available whenever you need it.

THE FACIAL AESTHETIC CONCEPT©
A restoration has succeeded only when it cannot be recognized as one. Dr Felix Zaritzki has developed his own approach for that: we plan backwards: from the aesthetic result in the face, not from the technique. The play of light, form, symmetry, the smile line and expression are weighed equally with bite guidance, stability and load. With larger restorations we test the planned result directly in the mouth, before a single tooth is touched. You see your new smile before it exists. You decide with us. The result does not stand out. It fits.

EXECUTION
We fight for every millimeter of substance. Minimally invasive treatment protects what has to be protected: tooth structure, gum, jaw function. We always choose the gentlest solution and, where needed, combine methods: inlays, porcelain onlays, porcelain crowns, bridges or dentures, so that the transitions stay invisible. The ceramic is made by hand in respected master laboratories, so that the structure, the surface light and the translucency of natural teeth are reproduced exactly. Which material belongs on which tooth we decide individually, and we match the color with different try-in pastes before anything is placed permanently. Contact points, bite guidance and loading are shaped so that you do not perceive your restoration as a restoration, but as part of your natural row of teeth.

Who is a Zaritzki restoration for?

  • Decay has attacked the substance and you want it restored in aesthetics and function.
  • Traces of grinding or clenching: worn teeth, cracks, sensitivity.
  • After endodontic treatment: a crown or onlay that stabilizes the tooth.
  • After accidents: broken teeth can be restored "invisibly".
  • Age-related change: teeth age too, but with the right expertise they can be restored aesthetically.

Which restoration is the right one for you?

Inlay: for very small damage

What looks small is the greatest discipline. What holds for an inlay holds for a full rehabilitation. We work with Orascoptic loupes, Carl Zeiss optics, 5× magnification and dedicated LED light. What we see, no one sees without that magnification. What we do, no one sees afterwards anyway. What stays visible is your tooth.

Porcelain Onlay: for moderate damage

Where an inlay is no longer enough but the tooth still carries, the onlay follows. A ceramic shell for the upper part. What is healthy stays. What is missing is replaced. The transition: neither visible nor palpable.

Porcelain crown: for major damage

Where the tooth needs protection all round, the crown protects it completely. Form, light and translucency of your natural teeth are reproduced in the ceramic, layered by hand, at workshop quality. A shell that does not look like one.

Veneer: when only the smile is the problem

Ultra-thin, translucent micro-facings, bonded permanently to the natural teeth and visually indistinguishable from the original. We design them in advance digitally and as a mock-up directly in the mouth, in the Real Face Preview, and match form, nuance of color, gradient and translucency exactly to what you want.

Implant crown and Implant bridge: for missing teeth

Where a tooth is missing, a custom ceramic crown sits on an implant, the artificial root in the bone. With several missing teeth this becomes an implant bridge. The medically intelligent solution, because the neighboring teeth stay untouched. What is decisive is the junction between implant and crown: if it does not sit exactly, bacteria can enter and the life of the implant falls. We therefore work with screw-retained implant crowns: the more demanding method, but the one with greater long-term security.

Bridge: where an implant is not possible

Where an implant is ruled out for medical reasons, such as a lack of bone, or certain conditions, the bridge takes over. It rests on the neighboring teeth. A solution without surgery. Long-lasting. Fully integrated.

Dentures: the last option, removable or fixed

Where too many teeth are missing to replace them individually, the denture takes over: removable, or anchored firmly on implants. On this scale too the standard holds: it should not be recognizable as what it is.

FAQ – Your questions about Zaritzki Restorations

Who are inlays for?
  • With small damage from trauma, wear or fracture
  • With small to moderate carious cavities, as a longer-lasting alternative to conventional fillings
  • With existing inlays that are to be replaced
  • With visual irregularities in tooth color or shape, for aesthetic improvement
Who is an onlay for?
  • For teeth with larger damage extending across the chewing surfaces, where an inlay is no longer possible
  • With greater loss of enamel and dentine
  • With advanced destruction where enough healthy tooth structure still remains to avoid a full crown
  • With existing onlays that are to be replaced
Who are crowns for?
  •  With heavily damaged, worn or ground-down teeth that rule out a less invasive option such as a filling, inlay or onlay
  • With existing crowns that are to be replaced, or where veneers are not possible
Who are bridges for?
  • Where one or more teeth are missing
  • Where an implant is not possible for medical reasons
Who are implant crowns for?

Where one or more teeth have been lost, an implant crown is an ideal solution, one that requires certain conditions of health:

- Healthy jawbone: sufficient bone is required for implants to integrate successfully.

- General health: because conditions such as diabetes or cardiovascular disease can affect healing, we examine your general health and, where appropriate, recommend measures to ensure a successful placement.

- Good oral hygiene: because regular, thorough oral hygiene is decisive in minimizing the risk of infection around the implant, we offer a dedicated implant hygiene program.

Which special methods and techniques are used?
  • These three techniques separate an average restoration from one that lasts decades. They take more effort and more time and forgive no error in execution. For that reason they are not in every practice's repertoire. At Zaritzki Fine Dentistry they are standard.
  • Immediate Dentin Sealing (IDS)
Freshly prepared dentine is sealed the moment it is exposed: "immediately", before bacteria or irritants reach it. If that moment is missed, it cannot be recovered. IDS decides bond strength, sensitivity and the life of the whole restoration, and demands a precision in the sequence that is regularly lost under the pressure of routine.
  • Margin Elevation Technique
The gold standard with deep, extensive defects below the gum margin. Exactly where conventional fillings fail (no tight marginal seal, bacteria entering, early failure), this technique moves the margin upwards under control and makes a high-quality, sealed restoration possible in the first place. Technically far more demanding than any standard filling.
  • Adhesively bonded core build-ups
The prepared tooth is sealed against bacteria before the restoration is in place. That keeps the course after treatment free of irritation and protects the tooth permanently. The aim is an interior that no bacteria reach, even after years.
