Periodontitis treatment: periodontal probe in a beam of light under magnification

Zaritzki Periodontics

Keeping teeth does not begin at the tooth. It begins at the foundation. Periodontitis develops quietly: a little bleeding when brushing, sensitive necks of the teeth, gums that begin to recede. How far this tissue decides the stability of the teeth is something most people notice late: once it recedes, or once bone is lost, even healthy teeth lose their hold. Our standard therefore does not end at stopping the inflammation. It ends at a foundation that can carry weight again. Zaritzki Periodontics considers gums, bone, biofilm and function together, with precise diagnostics, under loupes and LED light, and with microinvasive therapy. With Zaritzki ParoCare the course is guided over years: individually, documented, and measurable throughout.

Periodontics that does not only treat. It protects, it stabilizes, and it preserves for the long term.

The Zaritzki Difference

Periodontics does not end at gums free of inflammation. What decides the outcome is tissue-sparing precision, complete sight during treatment, and a method that restores lost stability measurably. Our periodontists work microinvasively, under Carl Zeiss optics at 5× magnification, on the basis of scientific evidence and long experience with complex findings.

PRECISION
We treat on the basis of data, not of experience alone. Before every therapy we record a complete ParoStatus (probing depths, bone loss, recession and mobility grades) and then work under Carl Zeiss optics at 5× magnification. We treat on the basis of what magnification actually reveals, and so decide precisely whether diseased tissue can be removed and healthy tissue kept intact.

MICROINVASIVE, NOT TRAUMATIC
Where classical periodontal surgery cuts, we work microinvasively and under sight, with the finest instruments, which reach only what has to be reached. Healthy tissue stays untouched. That shortens healing, reduces the burden, and spares the structures that carry the tooth over the long term.

REGENERATION, NOT MERE REDUCTION
We go a step further: where bone and supporting structure have already been lost, we use regenerative procedures in advanced cases, such as bone grafting or growth factors, to rebuild the structures rather than merely stabilize them.

ZARITZKI PAROCARE AS A SYSTEM
After the active therapy, the decisive phase begins. Zaritzki ParoCare is not aftercare. It is a documented stability program: risk-adapted intervals, precise cleaning below the gum margin, and a course that is recorded at every appointment and compared with your baseline findings. Stability is then not left to chance. It becomes steerable, and traceable for you at any time. Because teeth are not lost through age. They are lost because their hold becomes unstable unnoticed.

Who is Zaritzki Periodontics for?

When gums bleed, recede or turn sensitive, that is not a detail. It can be the first sign that stability is being lost. Further symptoms:

  • Bleeding gums
  • Bad breath
  • Receding gums
  • Exposed necks of the teeth
  • Swollen or sensitive gums
  • Loose or shifting teeth
  • Sensitivity to heat or cold

For everyone who wants to keep their natural teeth, not only once they begin to loosen.

How a Zaritzki periodontitis therapy works

1. Zaritzki ParoDiagnostics
  • A complete ParoStatus
  • Probing depths, bleeding, recession, mobility grades
  • Biofilm, bone loss, areas at risk
  • Low-radiation 3D X-ray technology
  • A dedicated examination of the periodontium
  • HD photographic documentation
  • No estimates. Measurable data. This analysis is the ground of your individual therapy, matched to your individual tissue profile.
2. Microinvasive Zaritzki periodontitis therapy

Inflamed areas are removed precisely and gently, with microinvasive techniques under high-resolution loupes, while healthy tissue stays untouched and is therefore kept entirely.

The treatment runs in clearly structured steps, designed to stop inflammation and restore the biological stability of the gums.

With advanced findings, regenerative procedures can be used to support the natural firmness of the periodontium and, where possible, rebuild it.

3. Documented healing review

After the treatment we review the healing systematically. The ParoStatus is evaluated again and compared with the baseline: probing depths, tendency to bleed, tissue regeneration and indicators of stability are recorded precisely.

This analysis shows not only how well the tissue has responded to the therapy. It is also the basis for deciding whether further regenerative measures are appropriate, or whether the move into long-term stabilization can begin.

4. Regenerative measures (where needed)

With aggressive, advanced periodontitis we use regenerative techniques such as bone grafting or growth factors, to rebuild the damaged periodontium.

5. Zaritzki ParoCare

Once the active therapy is complete, Zaritzki ParoCare begins, and it goes well beyond classical aftercare. This phase decides whether the tissue merely heals or stays able to bear load over the long term. The central difference: Zaritzki ParoCare concentrates on precise cleaning below the gum margin, where pathogenic bacteria settle deep in the tissue. Many therapies do not reach these areas. Here they are the priority.

Our specialized periodontal dental hygienists work with loupes and the finest instruments, to remove biofilm completely even in areas that are hard to reach.

Zaritzki ParoCare follows clearly defined intervals, adapted to your individual risk. Every appointment is documented, analyzed and compared with your baseline findings: a steerable, transparent system for securing your periodontal health. Zaritzki ParoCare is not aftercare. It is a scientifically grounded stability program that protects, strengthens and secures the periodontium over the long term, for teeth you can rely on.

FAQ – Your questions about Zaritzki periodontitis therapy

What is periodontitis, and how does it arise?

Periodontitis is a chronic inflammation of the gums and the periodontium, caused by bacterial deposits and biofilm. It can lead to receding gums, bone loss and, over time, even to the loss of teeth, if it is not treated in time.

Which symptoms point to periodontitis?
  • Bleeding gums, especially when brushing
  • Swollen or sensitive gums
  • Bad breath that persists even after thorough cleaning
  • Receding gums and exposed necks of the teeth
  • Loosening or shifting of teeth
How often should I have Zaritzki periodontitis therapy?

The frequency depends on the severity of the disease and on your individual risk:

Early stages: regular dental hygiene appointments and controlled plaque removal are often enough to stabilize dental health.

Advanced periodontitis: close-interval follow-up and Zaritzki ParoCare are required. These include professional dental hygiene sessions and examination of the gums, to prevent relapse and secure dental health over the long term.

Is Zaritzki periodontitis therapy painful?

Thanks to modern anesthesia and gentle technology (work under loupes with LED light, and the EMS AirFlow Prophylaxis Master), periodontitis treatment is as a rule low in pain or even free of pain, and our patients experience it as comfortable. Where needed we adapt the pain management individually.

Can periodontitis be cured completely?

Periodontitis is not considered curable, but it is considered controllable. In early stages the inflammation can be brought to a complete halt and lost tissue partly regenerated. What is decisive is the stabilization phase that follows: with us, Zaritzki ParoCare.

What can I do myself to prevent periodontitis?

Thorough home oral hygiene and regular professional prophylaxis appointments are decisive in preventing periodontitis. We recommend dental floss or interdental brushes, so that places which are hard to reach are cleaned thoroughly as well. A healthy diet and not smoking also support dental health and the gums.

How long does Zaritzki periodontitis therapy take?

The duration depends on the individual findings and is divided at Zaritzki Fine Dentistry into clearly defined phases:

1. Diagnostics and ParoStatus
The comprehensive analysis takes one appointment and forms the basis of your treatment plan.

2. Microinvasive periodontitis therapy
The active treatment takes place in two longer sessions, usually close together. Allow about 1.5 to 2 hours per appointment; that time is what makes precise, tissue-sparing cleaning under sight possible.

3. Healing review
After the active therapy there is a review appointment, at which we examine the regeneration of the tissue and record the ParoStatus again.

4. Zaritzki ParoCare: long-term stabilization
Zaritzki ParoCare, our individual stability program, begins afterwards. The intervals follow your personal risk and vary between 3 and 6 months. These appointments are decisive in securing the result over the long term.

In short: the therapy itself comprises few but intensively planned sessions. Everything beyond that serves stabilization and is matched to you individually.

Does insurance cover the cost of Zaritzki periodontitis therapy?

Coverage depends on your individual policy. As a rule, private health insurers cover the treatment cost in part or in full. We recommend checking the exact conditions with your insurer in advance.

How do loupes with LED light support Zaritzki periodontal therapy?

Loupes with LED light allow us to see even the finest details of the gum and tooth structures precisely, and to treat them in a targeted way. This contributes substantially to the quality and the durability of the results, and allows particularly gentle, thorough cleaning.
